Botswana Plans Aviation Expansion with New Routes
Botswana’s aviation sector is poised for significant growth with the announcement of plans for three exciting new air routes. The Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) is spearheading this initiative, aiming to greatly enhance connectivity, attract vital investment, and vigorously stimulate the country’s aviation industry.

Anticipation is building as further information regarding these new routes is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming AviaDev Africa Conference. This prestigious event, scheduled for June in Gaborone, is set to draw over 400 delegates. Among them will be representatives from more than 20 airlines, all eager to hear about Botswana’s aviation future.

CAAB Chief Executive Officer, Thuso Toise, has reportedly emphasized that these new routes represent a strategic and forward-thinking move. The primary objective is to significantly strengthen Botswana’s air links.
