Gold Discovery Ignites Exploration in Botswana
North Arrow Minerals has reported a significant gold discovery at its Kraaipan Gold Project in southern Botswana. This finding marks a notable development in a region previously underexplored for gold.
The Canadian exploration company announced a “breakthrough” gold intercept, signaling promising potential. The Kraaipan greenstone belt, located north of the South African border, has received limited attention until now.
Promising Assay Results at Kraaipan
Assay results from drill hole KR25-157 at Target A revealed 1.56 grams per tonne of gold over 30 meters from the surface. Within this zone, higher-grade sections were identified, including 7.32 grams per tonne over three meters and 4.26 grams per tonne over four meters.
This discovery highlights the potential for gold mineralization within the Kraaipan greenstone belt. The results could stimulate further exploration activities in the area, potentially opening a new frontier for gold mining in Botswana.
